Parent company San Fang Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. As the first company in Taiwan to adopt the wet PU process for synthetic leather production, San Fang established core competencies in materials science, coating technologies, and composite manufacturing processes.

San Fang officially installed functional film production lines and began the development and manufacturing of advanced films, marking the group’s strategic entry into the functional film materials sector.

Leveraging the group’s film production lines and R&D capabilities, a dedicated functional film business unit was progressively established. Over more than a decade, the team accumulated extensive experience in the development, mass production, and cross-industry application of high-performance flexible films, serving apparel, footwear, electronics, and industrial markets.

Film technologies were extended
to high-performance material systems such as TPU and TPEE, significantly enhancing processing capability
and application versatility, and laying the material foundation for apparel, footwear, and industrial
film applications.

Nichetech Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. was officially established as an independent subsidiary, inheriting the technologies, production assets, and professional teams of San Fang Chemical’s functional film business unit. The company focuses on the R&D, manufacturing, and global supply of high-performance flexible films, advancing toward a platform-based operating model.

Nichetech continues to deepen the application of advanced functional films across apparel, footwear, semiconductors, high-end electronics, outdoor composite materials, and transportation sectors. By integrating global operations with sustainable material strategies, Nichetech is steadily progressing toward becoming a cross-industry platform company for advanced functional film materials.
